In Eindhoven, the city where Philips started, the famous NATLAB was opened in 1914 by Gerard and Anton Philips. Now 100 years later in 2014, the NATLAB is converted into a cultural centre.
The city of Eindhoven invested 14 milion euro in the complete renovation of this former physical lab.
In the main venue STS installed 21 manual central controlled Prolyte chain hoists with a capacity of 250 kg D8+ and a variable speed of 0-8 m/min.
The hoists are mounted on movable trolleys which are mounted on a movable beam. The hoists are equipped with double brakes, fatey factor 10, endscwitches and an electrical overload protection.
