Manufacturing & Engineering

STS has all the necessary disciplines in-house to develop, manufacture and install all the products offered.

A problem can often be solved in several ways: mechanically, electrically, hydraulically or through the control system. Because we have the expertise and we have these technologies in our factory, we can deliver the best solutions.  We are therefore capable of a faster and cheaper service.

Our spacious factory has modern CNC machinery, including a plasma cutter.  We also provide engineering, installation and service.  We have 2 and 3-D CAD systems for design and engineering work at our disposal.

In Europe, our systems are run in accordance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC as well as the DIN IEC 61508 and IEC 62061 SIL standards.  We have also supplied systems to client and national guideline specifications e.g. to CSA (Canadian Standard Approval), UL (Underwriters Laboratories USA Safety Standard), NF F 16 101 M1 (French standard show deck), BGVC1, BGVD8 + and DIN56950-2005-EN.

Installation

Our work is led by specialists.  The installations are carried out by multidisciplinary engineers who are skilled in mechanics, electrics and automation.

Inspection and Maintenance

The services we offer include programming, inspection, maintenance and operation.

Rental

We have a good stock of winch controllers and various control panels.  Please contact us to check whether we have a solution for you. If the item you request is not in stock, then we will see if adding it to our rental equipment is financially viable for both parties.

Innovations

STS has an excellent reputation for innovation.  Each production is different. We collaborate with the designers at an early stage of a production. In this way we are able to offer unique solutions.

References

Most of our projects take place within Europe.  Our products and services are used in large musicals for Disney, Stage Entertainment, Cameron Mackintosh and Andrew Lloyd Webber, as well as for other clients.  Our fixed theatre installations are found in cities such as Antwerp, Hague, Utrecht, Amsterdam and Den Helder.
